Thanks for stopping by!
I’m Emily - wifey, new mommy, fur mommy, and documenter of life through photography.
I love the simple things in life: oreos, front porches, and Netflix. My true passion is serving others through the art of photography. When I am not capturing moments, you can catch me snuggled up with my family, enjoying a good comedy, or yelling “Hail Southern!” with other Georgia Southern University Alumni!
I strive to capture the authenticity of your love story and all the special moments in your life.
Grab a diet coke and a pack of oreos, pull up a chair, and let’s chat about you!
I am a believer first. Knowing Jesus has changed my life and I strive to share His grace by serving others with love. He spoke often on love and service, It is my hope that, through His example, I demonstrate that to my clients. He gives my life purpose and meaning.
I married my college sweetheart, Chris. Through the ups and downs, he has continued to be my best friend and biggest cheerleader - always encouraging me to pursue my passions and follow my dreams. We are new parents to our beautiful daughter, Aubrey. Whether it is my small family, or parents & siblings, each inspire me to be kind and work hard.
03. FUR BABY
Our adorable miniature poodle, Lucy, keeps me company when I’m working from home. We adopted her 7 years ago and I probably love her more than a person should love a pup.
I have been blessed with the most incredible group of friends. They are my words of encouragement and the extra push I need to be a girl boss. Each beautifully different, they inspire me to enjoy each moment and to be creative while working.
What’s not to love about fresh flowers? It still amazes me that something so simple can bring such joy. They are often feminine and romantic, which inspires me to capture real, delicate, and intimate moments.
Ya girl loves food, what can I say. I love how food brings people together… how the smell reminds you of other times… how the taste can put a smile on your face (unless it’s my cooking…)
So it may not be a word, but I love all the delicate things in life: calligraphy, lace, florals…. I often find inspiration in quotes, vintage apparel, or antiques.
My biggest inspiration is having fun! Whether it is traveling to a new, exciting place or watching a good comedy show (John Crist, anyone?). I love that photography allows me the freedom to have fun! The best times are connecting with new people and creatively telling their story!
